The 'Last Post', is the page in each issue dedicated to remembering those who served, and subscribers are invited to send in details of names they would like to see included on the list.

Names of men and women of any nationality will be accepted provided they served in some capacity during the Great War or its immediate aftermath (1914 to 1919).

The names of those who returned home and who may have no lasting memorial anywhere are particularly welcome for inclusion.

Any subscriber can send in the details of someone they would like to see included in our regular ‘Roll of Honour’ page. Provided the person (man or woman, of any nationality) served between 1914 and 1919 their name can be submitted.

The information we need is as follows:

1: Service number (if known).

2: Rank or title (if known).

3: First and last name (personal name and surname).

4: Any medals or honours (if known).

5: Unit, battalion, regiment, ship etc. (if known).

6: Year of death (if known).

7: Cause of death (if known).

8: Place of death (if known).

We can check some details against the Soldiers Died database if you do not have all the information.

A person does not have to have been in the military to be featured. Nurses, munitions, ship and other such war workers are also listed.

The magazine has featured the Roll of Honour in every issue since Issue 1, and it has has proved very popular with readers.

Only our subscribers can nominate family members and friends for inclusion on this page.

Just send us the information required for the Roll of Honour (see the magazine for the details we include) and we will ensure it is listed in the next available issue.
